Field Trip: National Museum of the Great Lakes

Sunday February 22 we will carpool to Toledo and arrive when the doors open at noon. This gem of a museum brings Great Lakes history alive through a maritime perspective. Beautiful exhibits tell the story of the three masted schooners, the era of overnight passenger boats, the numerous excursion steamers and ways in which the Great Lakes fostered immigration, economic expansion and helped to build the industrial base of America.
The field trip fee of $20 per person covers museum admission and a light lunch that will be served in one of the museum’s meeting rooms. Your driver will appreciation a donation for gas and turnpike tolls.
