2025 Winter Classes

        
Two classes join the February line-up.  INTRO TO FIBERGLASS REPAIR returns again for another four class session and OAR AND PADDLEMAKING will give you  something that just feels so right in your hands.

INTRO TO FIBERGLASS REPAIR
Learn how to repair dings, cracks, and holes in a fiberglass boat.  You will learn – hands-on – as you repair a damaged fiberglass panel sawn from a derelict boat.  You will learn how to approach a repair, how to prep the damaged area, and what materials to use.  Importantly, you will learn how to finish the repair area and work with gelcoat to achieve a near seamless look.

Class Sessions – Four consecutive Thursday evenings 7 – 9:30 PM starting February 13.

Class Fee – $180 Class limited to 12 participants

OAR AND PADDLE MAKING
Make a paddle or set of oars to match your boat, your needs, and your physical size.  You will design a paddle or oar that will meet your requirements and then work with basic woodworking tools to bring your design to life.  It’s not done until it feels good in your hands!  No woodworking experience required.

Class Sessions – Five consecutive Wednesday evenings 7 – 9 PM Starting February 5

Class Fee – $160/paddle, $200/oars
