Class Registration Now Open

Registration is now open for two new classes that start soon.   If you have fiberglass issues, the Intro to Fiberglass Repair class will give you basic skills to complete a repair and insight into when to call in a professional.   In our Stitch-n-Glue Construction Basics class you will learn the ins and outs of this technique hands-on as you build a 15ft. runabout.

Have a ding, crack or hole in your fiberglass boat that needs attention?  Here is a chance to learn the skills needed for basic repairs. You will learn hands-on as you repair a fiberglass panel sawed from a derelict boat.   Importantly, you will learn how to color match gel-coat pigment to elevate your repair to the near seamless level.  Class size is limited to 12 participants.

Interested in building a boat from scratch or from a kit?  Here’s your chance to learn the basics of stitch-n-glue construction hands-on as the class builds a FLEET, a 15ft runabout designed by Australian Ross Lillistone.   You will learn the technique starting with cutting out plywood panels and progress to sheathing the hull in fiberglass cloth.  Class size is limited to 8 participants.
