Four New Boats for the Summer
The last day of the Boatbuilding Basics Workshop has a bittersweet feeling. As keels and decks are screwed and glued in place, the building process ends and the team disbands. The workspace is now populated with four new Six-Hour Canoes. But we’re not quite done. The new boat owners will be around for a bit longer as they take on the tasks of painting and varnishing their work.
Everyone enjoyed the experience. Some already want to do it again next year!
