We’ve thrown down the gauntlet. Get your boat done and in the water on Sept 23. Not much summer left. We’ll be on the beach and hot dogs will be on the grill. Hand launch off the beach or use the ramps at Edgewater for larger boats and power boats.

Kayak Launch Area, far eastern end of the beach

We will launch the recently constructed Wischmeyer Pram on Henry Wischmeyer’s 151st. birthday. Join us for a bit of ceremony, cake and refreshments.

We will be located at the kayak launch area on the far eastern end of the beach by Porter Creek. Use the parking lot as you come into the park. Take the stairs down to the beach and go to your right (east) along the beach to reach the kayak launch area.
