Through meetings, outings, and a lending library, members have an opportunity to learn and have fun wtih those who share a similar interest. Visitors are always welcome at CABBS activities.

George Miller Wins Freeman-Turner Award
Accepting the award in a state of disbelief, George paid tribute to the other boats. Ric Altfather in presenting the award, recognized George not only for the kid's boat, but for his many years of service to the organization. CABBS members who worked this year's boat show voted George Miller the 2012 recipient of the Freeman-Turner award. The award is given to the boatbuilder whose boat on display in the CABBS booth best represented the ideals of the organization. George's boat, a seven foot mini-skiff built from one sheet of plywood, shows how easy it is to make a child's rowing boat for pool or sheltered waters.
